After much to-ing and fro-ing with the range office, the Club Championships will be held on Saturday 2nd October.
Course of fire will be either:
300, 300, 900, 900 or 300, 600, 900, 1000
depending on whether or not I can get a fallback.
Now that we have a route out of lockdown, we are planning the new season. This will be a reduced set of matches; there are currently 2 rounds of LMRA league scheduled, but there may be a third round w/e 14/15th August.
Club championship targets have been booked, but are unconfirmed at this point in time.
Congratulations to Adam for a decisive win in the Long Range and the Club Championships, Andy for winning the President's and the Short Range and, finally, to Lucy for winning the Handicap Plate.
Secondly, many thanks to Berkshire for allowing us to subvert their Open Meeting for our championships, and allowing Adam to win their Open as well!
We are currently planning to go ahead with the club championships, following the success of the NRA's COVID-safe imperial. We will be leveraging the Berkshire Open as the basis for our championship, so any entries need to go via Berkshire.
The weather held out for this year's championships - just!
The championships was won by Birty, beating Nick in a hastily arrange tie shoot once the results became known. Both scored 197.25, with ties of 25.02 vs 23.02 respectively.
Full results can be found here, and AGM minutes can be found under the Downloads section.
We have migrated our website to Drupal. I hope you like the new look. It will take a bit of time to develop all the functionality, so please bear with us.
