Not a vintage year for Manydown, although Manydown Green (Nick Mace, Adam Jory, Marcus O'Leary and Tim Green) did come second in the Belgian and Bank of England. We came 8th in the Astor, even though we had a higher score than last year when we came 3rd! Nick Mace came 2nd in the Saturday Agg., and Tim Green came 2nd in the Corporation and Monday Agg. Nick Mace came 23rd in the Grand Agg., and Ed Welford came 48th. We were very well represented in the Queens final: Nick Mace 17th, Adam Jory 28th, Andy Burton 66th, Richard Birtwistle 67th, and Matt Guille 92nd. Bizarrely, only one Manydown member reached the St. George's final, Adam Jory, who came 77th. Many thanks especially to Matt Guille, Richard Birtwistle, Andy Burton, Ed Welford, Marcus O'Leary and Lucy Mace, all of whom put down Manydown as their club for the prizelists. All did well, and the name 'Manydown' was very well represented on the boards!
